Why tyres are made black ?

Image
Originally rubber tires are white, which is the natural color of rubber. In the early 1900s, Binney & Smith began selling their carbon black chemicals to Goodrich Tire Company, as it was found that the use of carbon black in rubber manufacturing significantly increased certain desirable qualities for rubber meant to be turned into tires.  Carbon black works as a reinfor cing filler in rubber, which increases the durability and strength of the rubber. Specifically, adding about 50% by weight of carbon black increases the road-wear abrasion of the produced tire by as much as 100 fold and improves the tensile strength of the tire by as much as 1008%. The tensile strength, for those who don’t know, is the amount of force needed to pull something to its breaking or bursting point.

Aliens are reaching US but we are not ???

Image
From the last two centuries we are in search of the aliens and we are seeing the different types of aliens bodies all around the globe and not able to find the right solution where are they actually come from and what the need. Are they in peace to communicate or not is another big question. " Actually THEY ARE HAVING THE TECHNOLOGY TO REACH US BUT WE ARE NOT HAVE THOSE".  We are having another mysterious problem is the "crop circles" for this i assume that in order to communicate with them we are using the Radio communication system with a binary language and they are based upon the symbolic representation of the coding that can be compared with the binary language.  if they are having the unlimited power to make our self powerful at the same time we do also have the same kind of features and resources in our planet. During the Big Bang explosion the universe and all other planets and Galaxy are formed  the planets and the solar system are equally forme

Bosch Continuously Variable Transmission

Image
Continuously variable transmissions (CVTs) are stepless automatic transmissions with a Bosch pushbelt. By transmitting drive power efficiently from the engine to the wheels, CVTs reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 7% compared with conventional manual transmissions -- and this without any los s of traction whatsoever. Compact and robust, with technology that is easy to apply, CVTs also cut cost and take up less of the valuable installation space available. IN SHORT:- Continuously Variable Transmission- >Less fuel consumption >Less CO2 output >More comfort >Powerful acceleration

Swiss company aims to fly satellites into space

Image
If you want to launch a satellite in the usual way – on top of a rocket – it will typically cost you at least US$50,000,000. Newly inaugurated aerospace firm Swiss Space Systems (S3), however, claims that it will be able to put your small satellite into orbit for about 10.6 million bucks. S3 is planning on flying satellites into space, using an airliner and an unmanned shuttle..

Siberian Huskies

Image
Siberian Huskies have a thicker coat of fur than almost any other breed of canine. It actually has two layers, a dense undercoat and a longer topcoat of short and straight hair. The fur protects the dogs from the Arctic temperatures and weather. Interestingly, the Husky doesn’t suffer in the summer, because the coat reflects heat. The undercoat usually sheds off and requires weekly grooming. The H usky can withstand temperatures of -58 to -76 degrees Fahrenheit. Siberian Huskies come in a variety of colors and patterns, usually with white paws and legs, facial markings, and tail tip. The most common coats are black and white, then less common copper-red and white, grey and white, pure white, and the rare "Agouti" coat, though many individuals have blondish or piebald spotting. Striking masks, spectacles, and other facial markings occur in wide variety. Overall they are exquisite canines with amazing capabilities. The picture above is of Siberian Husky with brown almond

Boomerang

Image
| Background: A boomerang is an aerodynamically shaped object designed to fly efficiently through the air when thrown by hand. The term usually refers to an object made to follow a circular flight path that returns it to the thrower. (Some sources describe all aerodynamic "throwing sticks" as boomerangs, separating them into "returning" and "nonreturning" categories.) Traditional designs are V-shaped, but newer versions may have irregular shapes or more than two arms. Two design components give the boomerang the capability of circular flight. One is the arrangement of the arms, and the other is the airfoil profile shape that allows the arms into wings. During flight, the boomerang spins rapidly (about 10 revolutions per second). The wing profiles create the same lift effect that makes airplanes fly. In addition, the spinning motion creates gyroscopic precession, which pulls the boomerang into a circular path. A similar effect can be seen with a

Smallest New Bron Kangaroo . . .

Image
A newborn kangaroo is less than 2 cm in length (less than an inch) when born and weighs about half a gram. It is about the size of a kidney bean.  A baby kangaroo (joey) when born is a blind, hairless embryo that makes it way from the birth canal of the mother kangaroo up to and into the mother's pouch. The joey then latches onto a teat inside the pouch, which then swells inside mouth of the joey,  basically securing it from falling or being jolted from the pouch. The joey then continues to form and grow. The mother kangaroo can have two joeys of different ages in a pouch, at the same time. When this occurs, the mother actually gives two different milks for each joey, according to its nutritional needs. At the same time, she may have an older, almost -weaned joey, which requires a third milk. The more mature joey will leave the pouch as a fully formed animal with sight and fur and able to move around, a little less than half the height of the mother kangaroo. It will quickly re

The Fastest Plane on Earth!!

Image
Since 1976, the "Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird" has held the world record for the fastest ‘air-breathing manned aircraft’ with a recorded speed of 1,905.81 knots (2,193.2 mph; 3,529.6 km/h). That works out to a staggering 36.55 miles/58.83 km per minute. The Blackbird was so fast that its strategy against surface-to-air missiles was to simply accelerate and outfly them. B elow you will find an extensive gallery of this iconic aircraft along with information on the history, design and records the plane holds to this day. The SR-71 served with the U.S. Air Force from 1964 to 1998. Of the 32 aircraft built, 12 were lost in accidents, though none to enemy action. Since 1976, it has held the world record for the fastest air-breathing manned aircraft. The first flight of an SR-71 took place on 22 December 1964, at Air Force Plant 42 in Palmdale, California. The first SR-71 to enter service was delivered to the 4200th (later, 9th) Strategic Reconnaissance Wing at Beale Air Force Base,

'Total Earth blackout' due to alignment of Universe- NASA moves to shed light on rumours!! Rumours are rife that the Sun itself will be totally blacked out by an 'alignment' of the Universe causing those who are easily led astray to hyperventilate about doomsday - using NASA's own data! The truth is far from that. Here is a mythbuster straight from NASA's Francis Reddy. Thick dust clouds block our night-time view of the Milky Way, creating what is sometimes called the Dark Rift. The fact that -- from the viewpoint of Earth -- the sun aligns with these clouds, or the galactic center, near the winter solstice is no cause for concern. Credit: A. Fujii One of the most bizarre theories about 2012 has built up with very little attention to facts. This idea holds that a cosmic alignment of the sun, Earth, the center of our galaxy -- or perhaps the galaxy's thick dust clouds -- on the winter solstice could for some unknown reason lead to destruction. Such alig

Worlds Smallest Petrol Engine

Image
Scientists have created the smallest petrol engine in the world ( less than a centimeter long not even half an inch ), small enough to power a watch or any small gadget. The mini-motor, which runs for two years on a single squirt of lighter fuel, is set to revolutionize world technology. It generates 700 times more energy than a conventional battery. It could be used to operate laptops and mobile phones for months doing away with the need for charging. Experts believe it could be phasing out batteries in such items within just six years. The engine, minute enough to be balanced on a fingertip, has been produced by engineers at the University of Birmingham.

Aerodynamics

Image
Well, many of will be thinking that HOW AEROPLANES FLY??,Same question strike in my mind,so here is the answer for you guys. Drop a stone into the ocean and it will sink into the deep. Chuck a stone off the side of a mountain and it will plummet as well. Sure, steel ships can float and even very heavy airplanes can fly, but to achieve flight, you have to exploit the four basic aerodynamic fo rces: lift, weight, thrust and drag. You can think of them as four arms holding the plane in the air, each pushing from a different direction. First, let's examine thrust and drag. Thrust, whether caused by a propeller or a jet engine, is the aerodynamic force that pushes or pulls the airplane forward through space. The opposing aerodynamic force is drag, or the friction that resists the motion of an object moving through a fluid (or immobile in a moving fluid, as occurs when you fly a kite). If you stick your hand out of a car window while moving, you'll experience a very simple demon

Student's omnidirectional sphere- wheeled electric motorcycle

Image
Thanks to gyros, accelero meters  and sophisticated control  mechanisms, remaining upright on  a two-wheeled vehicle is no longer  quite the balancing act it might  once have been, even when at a  standstill. Visions of future mobility  like Honda's U3-X take such ideas  in whole new directions, quite  literally, by including multi- directional capabilities, and  concepts such as Supple go even  further still by ditching wheels  altogether in favor of balls. It's this  freedom of movement that inspired  a group of students from the  Charles W Davidson College Of  Engineering at San Jose State  University to begin work on the  ambitious Spherical Drive System  (SDS) electric motorcycle. The SDS concept vehicle is described as a self-balancing electric motorcycle that rides on spheres. Rather than using the kind of mechanical gyros that help keep the Gyrobike or the C-1 from Lit Motors in an upright position, the SDS creation uses data from MEMS gyroscopic sensor technol

Wörthersee e-bike

Image
Next week Audi will debut their prototype Wörthersee e-bike, which promises to be a highly advanced, versatile electric bike from the German automakers. The Audi e-bike will be unveiled at Wörthersee in Carinthia, Austria where trial biker Julien Dupont and downhill specialist Petra Bernhard will demonstrate their stunts and streetbike skills. “As a high-performance e-bike for sports and trick cyc ling, it features the Audi core competences of design, ultra, e-tron and connect,” stated Audi’s Head of Design Wolfgang Egger. weighs 24 pounds and features a compact frame made of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer with a low center of gravity to make it superbly agile. The same carbon fiber-reinforced polymer is also used for the 26″ wheels which feature an innovative “Audi ultra blade” design with broad flat spokes for an optimized transmission of pedal power. The 2.3 kW electric motor sends up to 184 lb-ft. of torque to the rear wheel and uses a lithium-ion battery that only need

India defense vision

Image
A Puff Of Dust India’s collective memory plays strange tricks. British Raj no longer evokes outrage or indignation in India, within a few decades after the end of colonial rule. The same British Raj, who were overseers of India’s rapid decline from the richest economy to the poorest in a short span of 100 years. Britain’s rapid decline after the loss of India rarely registers on Indian minds. Inspite of a nuclear neighbourhood, defence issues are not electoral hot-buttons in India’s mind-scape. China and Pakistan apart, the three other nuclear powers, (USA, Britain, France) also have military presence in India’s immediate vicinity. In India’s collective memory, its remarkable rise from the Great Bengal Famine of 1941 to overflowing food godowns in 2011 is lost in the media  din and NGO activism . But then, this par for the course, for  a society that keeps re-indexing  even heroes like Raghu Ramachandra and Yadu Krishna. Walk The Talk … 65 years later, after the end of c
