Definitions :

·         High cholesterol is excess levels of fats in blood. Cholesterol in your blood consists of three main components:

·         Low density lipoproteins [LDL] : it involved in depositing chlestrol and other fast throught the body. High levels of LDL put you at risk of heart diseases.

·         High density lipoproteins [HDL]: it involved in eliminating cholesterol and other fats from the body. High levels of HDL are protective against heart diseases.

·         Triglycerides : a common form of fats in the  body.

·         High blood pressure is blood pressure consistently above 149/90 mm Hg which if uncontrolled can affect other organs suchas eyes,brain,kidneys in addition to your heart.

·         Body mass index is a measure of your weight in relations to your height. High BMI indicates obesity which can pt you at risk of heart diseases.

·         Ankle beachial index determines the presence of disease in your blood vessles of your extremities and indicates the rick of stroke and heart attacks.

·         Pulse wave velocity determines whether thr blood vessels in your heart have any damage or blok and indicates your rick of your heart and kidney diseases
