Performance chips in detail









The electric pulses and other binary codes which are buzzing in and around the control panel and engine sensors devices which generate the pluses into the modifier module that sends the modified signal into the engine mechanisms  and the whole circuit is called as the performance chip.
In the present technological days all the mechanical components are functional with the electronic devices and chip devices this reduces the man power with the machine and make it automatically work. With the help of the electronic chips which are used in large number in the automotive field in large in number.
Computer controlling systems are in-built to the automotive for the all modern automobiles which improves the performance of the vehicle in all the aspects. The driver can control the engine at different conditions with this performance chip which is Pre-programs the computer with the terms and conditions of the driver how can maintain the vehicle properly and to reduce the consumption of the fuel at lower grades.

Types of performance chips:

3.       Engine Control System


CONTROL MODULES


 In this type the chip is plugged directly to the electrical system, This module is operated with the electrical system that the sensors which are fixed in a specified part will provide the parameters of the performance of the engines data which will transfer/displayed on the control panel module with a programmed circuit. Considering the following parameters of the engine with the needful information the air/fuel ratio, ignition timing, valve timing and other key functions can be adjustable by transferring the data through the on-board computer. The control module delivers the accurate active tuning of the engine because of the constant reading and un-interrupting data from the sensors. These control modules are well programmed customized to maximize the output and efficiency of the vehicle on specific models, size of the engine, transmission type, suspension system and size of the wheels.


Most of the control modules have different modes of the power levels or the stages on each stage of mode the power level of the engine can be selected by the driver this make the drive to choose the prefect amount of power for the innovative driving skills on their driving.
Installing the control module take less than 15 minutes and very simple to fix into the engine. The wires are built-in heat shield resistance that are directly plugged into the control module. The connecting ends are made it easy to connect which are plastic pins which can be easily connected and a back-up cable is also provided with it.
          
POWER PROGRAMMERS


Just like control module the power programmer should be configured your vehicle’s on-board computer to perform at peak levels but the working the equipment is quite different from the permanently installed electrical system and other power programmed plug-in systems devices. The main advantage of the power programing system is having a great control over the tuning system. As these changes makes a dramatically effects your vehicle performance but unless you are having the power programmer   module the on-board computer is not able to control or re-calculate the parameters.

Engine Management system
This type of design is customized to the vehicle to the exact specifications. Who knows the inner working specifications of the entire drive trains you can mount the EMS inside your engine compartment. Once it's secured, you simply unplug the wires from your old computer and plug them into the new one. Those wires sync your EMS with all of your vehicle's sensors, so it has an immediate connection to all the data from every critical part on your automobile. It uses the readings from your sensors to run your engine at its peak level. You can even plug your laptop into the EMS to view performance information and manipulate settings.


Ignition timing for producing the spark or the ignition at the right time for complete combustion of the fuel.


Cam timing is done with replacement of the cam shaft for right timing of valves opening [inlet and exhaust valve].


Camshaft control mechanism – this mechanism is also placed with the present of the camshaft as a variable. 


Fuel delivery regimes connected to injectors to pump more fuel into combustion chambers.


Air/fuel Ratio as the power is produced by the combustion of the fuel which makes a blast in the combustion chamber in each cylinder on a fixed timing period. This fuel ratio can be controlled by the on-board computer and with the help of the performance chip the mixes the air/fuel ratio in a required amount so that a glance performance is done across the maximum rpm range and decreases the detonation problems.
