INDIA or CHINA ???

Every time when one look into a blog or any popular website in the sub-continent or even in the Asia-pacific we could see many discussions in the topic “INDIA OR CHINA”.Patriots from both nations will be joining in and posting their thoughts, and I would like to say that my blog is no different and the motivation to this has certainly come from an book called “SUPER POWER” written by Raghav Bahl,an renowned author and journalist, and one of my favourite CNN-IBN host.
So books and mags apart what really makes the difference in these two nations. The first and foremost thing coming to mind will be the nature of  governments, Democratic and communist. Many in the west criticized the way communist handle things and their administration techniques, but unlike other communist missions the Chinese had their own growth model and made sure that their development becomes inclusive.
What have we done so wrong which the Chinese did so correctly, simple, we started late. Now, India is a superpower in the reckoning undoubtedly, but we haven’t utilized our resources in the way we are supposed to be.India with a huge population had everything, right from natural resource, wealth, technicians, scholars, to POVERTY,CORRUPTION, HARASSMENT, and the list goes on continuing.
A country which is so diverse now, had an cultural heritage to reckon with millions of years ago, struggled to establish itself in the middle though, because of the colonialism by the west. One fact which comes to my mind and I have to undermine that fact which is, India got freedom only in late 1940′s by that time most part of the world had developed themselves in TRADE, WEALTH, HUMAN DEVELOPMENT, INFRASTRUCTURE, HYGIENE and above all COLONIALISM,it was the time when each nation was fighting vigorously to expand their boundary, through war, with sophisticated arms and strategies,on the whole they are developed  and we didn’t even started to develop.
But the situation now is slightly different though, all those imperialist nations who were once treated as slaves, now depending on ourselves for trade and our support in all international endeavors right from politics to agendas to typical economic resolutions. On one hand we can be very proud of what had been transpired over the course of past six decades, but still a few things ruining the development of the country is unacceptable. There should be nothing which compromise the growth of the nation like corruption, terrorism, internal vote bank politics, etc.
Now coming to the comparison of the growth model of INDIA and CHINA, I strongly believe that we have few things to sort out:
  1. we don’t have an inclusive growth strategy like the Chinese have,
  2. Our development is not perpetual,
  3. Quality is always compromised in our nation,
  4. Efficient and bold managerial decisions lack thoroughly(eg.while bringing an act or law into motion, the union government has to run from park to park to get the nod and its highly unlikely that it will remain the same),
  5. And above all corruption by the babuji’s, According to me an uneducated politician may ask for money but an government servant should never ever think of doing it,if done he or she should be punished in such a way that should usher others like an warning, stringent punishments must be given then and there,I wish.
I believe someday someone who care for my country will bring to book those culprits and make my mother nation proud and the best country in the world.
JAI HIND!!
